I am not trying to live life in the past; which is nonsense. I am staying ahead by walking toward my future. I am almost 25 years of age, and I still have future plans I need to accomplish. I am however reminiscing on all the wonderful days and times I had in the past. But unfortunately, those days are over and behind me. Memories and memoirs do however have a special place in my heart. I keep them alive like a yearbook in my heart. Once again, I am not living in the past, but instead, I am backtracking on my old days whenever I get a chance. So that is basically the beginning of what I am stating here. These are just some of my opinions and how I feel. So allow me to take you back to the year of 2003, shall we?

On March 8, 2003, it was my sixteenth birthday during my freshman year in high school during the second semester. I was 16 years of age at the time. God has blessed me to live and see another year gone by. I was happy to be the age of sixteen. On my sixteenth birthday, I celebrated my birthday, I received birthday gifts from family members. I don’t remember them all at once, but I did receive new clothes, cash gifts, and my mother bought me a red ECKO Unlimited jacket to wear. I enjoyed my sixteenth birthday back then. Oh yeah; on my sixteenth birthday, I received a surprised visit from my grandfather. He took my father and I to the store to purchased some things. I also remember when my grade level administrator game me some shirts as a gift and also on my birthday, I was giving a dollar to spend at lunch so I could buy something like a beverage, cookies, bagged snacks, or ice cream. I don’t remember what I actually bought, but it had to be one of them. It was more different than big birthday parties; even though I had one before the day I became the age of seven years ago. I actually had the peace of mind that God gave me. I was blessed abundantly. Even the days after my birthday, days still went by real good. During the first semester in my freshman year in high school, things seemed difficult and puzzled in the beginning. After plethora time passed by within days and months, then I started to feel comfortable. It has been said, “No Pain, No Gain”. It is kind of related in the mind. Time really heals. God really brought me through tough times. I realized that it wasn’t middle school anymore (which were the times I also enjoyed). So the first four months of high school was like a weight in my mind that was just so hard to lift, and a pill that was too hard to swallow, but time helped lowered the pressure and made it easier. And since then, I made my way through. It was also like a huge weight on my shoulder I just needed to take down. So, basically, it was a work-out plan for the mind. At the end of the day, I had a Peace of Mind!

And while I was sixteen, I enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music, watching television, cycling, playing outside, visiting family members and spending time with them, making phone calls to family and friends and communicating with them, watching movies, playing video games, and whole lots more. I know I did these things before, but I was just enjoying life. Before the last week of my school year, I spent nights with my grandmother. I gave her some of my time. We have three trees that produce apples every summer. My mother was making homemade apple jelly and so was my other grandmother. Two months later, I spent nights with my cousin at her house. One of those days we went to Stone Mountain. We put up a great exercise by walking up the mountain. Even though we climbed up the mountain, we missed the laser show. When I came home from my cousin’s house, things were still going good. I wouldn’t call this a “Sweet Sixteen”, I am just living life one day at a time, breathing air, walking every step, eating and drinking.

“And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.” - Luke 12:19 [King James Version]

A month later, I went back to school on my sophomore year during the first semester; guess what, things went very well. There were only light problems I had to solve. Here is an example: There are things in one’s path may taste sweet like honey on the tongue, but somehow it will feel bitter to the stomach like a stomach virus. I did make it through. It wasn’t too serious.

A few months later, I started a penny collection. Wherever I saw a penny, I immediately picked it up. I remember I traded a dime for two nickels at school at the cast register, so I could turn them into pennies. It was kind of fun collecting pennies, and I even had a rock collection with it. But it wasn’t until a few months later that my penny collection had failed. I failed to maintain them. BUT, On January of 2004, I started over; I started to collect pennies again and this time, I decided to do it at my grandmother’s house. And guess what, it is still there and I am still collecting them. I don’t just have pennies, but also nickels, dimes, quarters, gold dollar coins, and a half dollar coin. I have put so much effort into them. So that was History in the Making in 2004. I collect them in a big Crystal Springs water bottle and there is some rolled up in my secured safe that I bought from Amazon.com back in 2008. The collection still goes on today.

This is all I have to put out about when I was Sixteen. It was so much memories back then, even though small parts were as bittersweet. And I will not forget this as long as I live. Thank you all for listening to me. God bless you all.

Yours in Christ,
-Victor

A Letter To My Longtime Friends VII: The Epistle

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>
Greetings to you all! This is your friend and brother Victor. It has been a short while since I have written to you. Everything is going okay on my side; nothing special at this time, but the Lord Jesus Christ has been with me through my good days and my dark days. I am still praying for you all. Even if things don’t go as you expect it to be, I am still thankful to God Almighty because I have life. We are here for a reason. I have my own tribulations and I try to endure through them. I am still living on God’s planet. The Devil himself is a liar, brainwasher, and the Master of Deceit! He is out there to steal, kill, and to blind people from the truth. I pray that more people will open their eyes and wake up to the truth. Since we have Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, everything is alright. So no matter what obstacle we try to conquer in life, Faith is the key. We do manage to keep our heads up whenever we are in bad times. I have always remained faithful to our creator God above.

I am still prayed up, I am still reading my Bible, and I am about the Lord’s business. Not only I am praying for you guys and your families and associates, but also for people I know in my neighborhood and those who don’t live near me; I am praying for my pen pal who is currently incarcerated, I am continuously praying for Mychal Bell, I am praying for Lil Wayne’s salvation; Lil Wayne said he is nothing with God back in 2008, but I am praying that God will send the Holy Ghost to chastise Lil Wayne. I shall always pray for him. As brethren in Christ, we should ALL pray for him. I am also praying for the lost to get saved and find salvation in Christ Jesus. I am keeping the poor & needy, our politicians, and the persecuted church in my prayers. I love you guys! God loves us too.

I managed to pray for all of those at Cedar Grove High School. This includes all of the teachers, students, principal, etc. I am making this prayer right here because a few days after my uncle died, we lost a friend and brother Jonathan Holloway. A month later, we lost another friend and brother Damian Powers. Months later, we lost Ms. Tate; a great English teacher and a month later, Coach Harper passed away. So those are the reasons why I tend to keep our former high school in prayer, even those whom we lost touch with ever since we parted ways after our high school graduation on May 27, 2006. But I thank God that we are still living. I don’t know what is going on at the school, but I am just praying that God will keep them all safe and covered.

We are still walking on the narrow pathway where the Lord Jesus Christ instructed us. Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to Heaven. I say this to you as a brother and a friend. I have yet applied for college, but when the time is right for me to do so, and then I will see what I can do. I have plethora things on my mind and I have done plenty of writing. Please pray for me. Right now, the American economy is “chopped & screwed”. You guys have no idea how I feel about this economy. People should place their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ anyway; NOT the government. I don’t care if it is the president, governor, congressman/congresswoman, or any other elected official, the Lord Jesus Christ holds the superior today!

“You Better Put Your Trust In God Because Man Will Let You Down Anytime”. – Tip Harris

There are many days ahead of us and we thank God for giving us more days to live due to his infinite merciful Grace. As I’ve said before, we are here for a reason; my aunt says that a lot. I also ask you all to join me in prayer for all of the persecuted Christians nationwide and across the globe. It has already been prophesied by Jesus Christ that the world will always hate us Christians as a whole. The world hated Jesus Christ first when He was nailed to the cross and was crucified.

Anyways, what is going on today is not anything new. There is nothing new under the sun whatsoever; whether it is the good, the bad, or the ugly. Surely when you turn on the television set, tune in on the radio to listen, connect to the World Wide Web, or just walk on the porch or in the driveway while in your house shoes or slippers to retrieve today’s newspaper, you get news every time. We mostly hear about crime, economic issues, homeland security, health issues, politicians & the government, and whole lots more. I am NOT saying you should believe everything what the mainstream media puts out, because they don’t tell you the full truth. We strive for the truth, and the truth is in the Holy Bible; which is the Word of the Living God. The Lord Jesus Christ is the TRUTH! The devil on the other hand is a LIAR, MURDERER, THIEF, CHEATER, and a MASTER DECEIVER! Back in the time of Adam and Eve, God told them which fruit to eat and which fruit not to eat or touch or they would die. And of course, the serpent (which was the devil) began to deceive Eve by telling her lies saying that they would not die and they would become “as gods”. Satan told two lies. That was when the deception began. Sadly, many people are being deceived today; whether it is a belief system that has nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ, or many false teachers over the internet, or televangelists who teach a “prosperity gospel” trying to make people feel guilty for not trying to give your money to these big time mega church pastors. Prosperity “gospel” preachers also preach plethora stuff that is money-related. The real Gospel is the Death, the Burial, and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ in bodily form and the rest of the basic tenets of Christianity.

As you know, we are in the month of October right now. I really don’t like the month of October because the atmosphere of the weather may look sometimes strange when it gets dark and a bit gloomy. And also, people do plenty of crazy things on Halloween. Even in the past (a few years back), I wrote an article entitled “Why I Don’t Celebrate Halloween”. Now, even though I don’t celebrate Halloween, I will NOT condemn those who celebrate it. (I am neither endorsing nor supporting Halloween whatsoever though.) Personally, I don’t think anyone should celebrate it. I am confident that some celebrate it in God’s way. At least I get to start raking leaves again and do other things. Those are just my personal views on October. I personally prefer Thanksgiving and Christmas, and many other things because I get to feast, commune, and to fellowship with family. You see, family is the value in human nature throughout the history of mankind. And another thing about Halloween; if you are planning to celebrate it, be extra careful. Beware of your surroundings. Every minor needs full supervision from an adult. I say this because people been doing bad stuff ever since. Again, I am neither making endorsements nor giving my support for Halloween. I can eat candy anytime. I just hope and pray for all the minors who go out Trick-or-Treating. I do remember when I was in high school, eggs were thrown. Were they trying to mister Easter and Halloween together? [Hehehe]. They were up to something though. We were forced to remove our knapsacks and we’d get them back during lunch periods.

Yes, it is getting cold and the temperature of the weather is dropping unexpectedly. I was almost unprepared. I had to turn on the heater and use plug-in electric heaters to keep myself warm. I’ve had three headaches in one week. I know that summer is gone. Last year in September of 2010, it was a mixture cold and hot. One day it was hot in the morning and day, but cool in the evening and night. Sadly, I had got sick that night with a cold and my body was weak. I was sick on the second day too, but not full though. I thank God that he took care of me. A friend of mine told me that in the Autumn/Fall season, there is a mixture of the weather temperature and the leaves starting to change their colors. Back in the Fall of 2009, we was getting plethora rain, [Thank God], and of course, the cold weather. At times, I don’t need my jacket; but most of the time; I really do need to wear my jacket outside. But don’t worry, I’m not complaining, I’m just stating my facts and opinions on how I feel. Sometimes opinions can be sorts of complaints. But the problem is that many people [including I] have to sort through clothes and pick out the right ones to wear during the wintertime. We have to wash them, dry them, and put them away. And since our economy is “chopped and screwed”, I hope our utility bills won’t go skyrocketed. Many people in today’s society are less fortunate, short on money, or “broke as a joke” without a dime at all here in this country. I think our twisted government ought to do something about that. I remember I had helped someone out because he needed some change to go to the store and purchase something. I did that because I hate to see people in bad conditions. This has nothing to do with me or my good deeds. I am not taking or accepting praise or credit for any of them But instead, All Glory, Praise, Laud, and Honor belongs to God Almighty and Him alone! Know what I’m sayin’?

Last year; when rapper T.I. was on his way to jail again, something immediately brought to his attention; he saw a young man attempting to commit suicide. So he decided to act quickly. He made persuasive agreement cooperation with the police and he got out of the police car quickly ran to the top of the building’s roof. When T.I. approached the young man, he began to talk him out of committing suicide. The young man stated that everything was wrong with him and his life was in a mess. He was in a state of depression. Thankfully, he didn’t commit suicide. He safely came down. T.I. said he was moved by God to talk him out of committing suicide and he chose not to accept praise for it, so he gave glory to God Almighty. It would be good if we keep this young man lifted up in prayer. Praise the Lord for T.I. to help someone. It seems like he is bearing some fruit in his Christian faith. He put his Faith into action! It was God himself who used him. God works in certain ways. So we should give thanks to God for EVERYTHING!

Anyways, I want to take this opportunity to thank you brothers and sisters for listening to me. This was something I had to get off my chest and from my heart. And just to let you know, I am still doing some writing and a bit of reading. Please continue to pray for me so I can have peaceful days and the rest of my needs. I will do the same for you brethren out there. Thanks for reading and may God bless you all richly and abundantly!

Be Blessed Forevermore,
Brother Vick
I know it has been a minute since I’ve written to you all last year. Well brothers and sisters, the reason why I am writing to you all is that today is the fifth anniversary of our high school graduation back in May 27, 2006. I am not living in Pastime Paradise [hehehe], I am only just bringing up good memories of the good times and events and how blessed we were back then. That was the time when we were gathered together for one last time. We walked that line with each other, our family, friends, and those who been with us throughout our high school years were sitting in the congregation at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. We were proud that we made it all the way through. Pictures were taken with each other, handshakes were extended to people. And lastly, we bade farewell to each other and all those whom re recognized, and then we parted ways.

My Personal Update:
You are probably wondering what I am doing. Well, I am still at home doing some writing. At times, I do procrastinate. I am still working on a book which I am not finished with yet and I am planning to get it published as soon as possible (A.S.A.P.) whenever I get finished. I don’t know why I like to read and write. It is just a gift from God that He blessed me with. I will remain independent because gaining fame is just a waste of time to me. If I was to become famous, my life would be in an absolute mess. I remember when I was in school; I wanted recognition for every good deed I’ve done; now I am just a humble, distinctive, and a spiritual brother in the Lord. At times, I read my Bible. I am not better than anyone, nor do I condemn people. I am not here on earth to excel people or to please men; I am here to please God. I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Even though I do good deeds in life, it doesn’t make me a “good person” because in the Book of Isaiah in the Holy Bible, you will read that our righteous are as “filthy rags”. All of us are sinners, but we are saved by the Grace of God through Faith and Trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Though we are in this earthly sinful flesh, the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins. It is just our Faith in Christ that will get us into Heaven. Read the verses below:
*Isaiah 64:6 [King James Version]
“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all out righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade away as a leaf; and out iniquities, like the wind have taken us away.”
*Romans 3:10 [King James Version]
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”
*Romans 3:23 [King James Version]
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

The Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
“I want to say thank you for given us days to live and thank you for given us knowledge for our minds. You have always been excellent to us. We love you and we thank you for your gracious mercy. You have always been merciful, even if our lives are sometimes in a mess and good things are not happening. All Glory, Laud, and Honor Belongs To YOU! I thank you for sending your only begotten son Jesus Christ to die on Calvary’s cross for every sin (present, past, and including our future sins). He was scourged and beaten, they spit on him. He was dead for three days and three nights and on the third day, he rose from the grave. He is currently seated at your right hand. His precious antiseptic blood washes away our sins. Anyways Father, I want to say thank you for your Word, thank you for your Holy Spirit and we will continue to give you loads of praise forever. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost! In Jesus’ righteous, precious, superior, holy name I pray,

Amen Forevermore!!!"

Victor Kendrick II

*John 14:27 [King James Version]
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Continue to walk on the narrow path, which it leads to Heaven (eternal life) through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2006 FOREVER!
***A CLASS TO REMEMBER***
~LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST~

Prayer Seeds I've Planted

Greetings folks, this blog is king of going to be an offshoot of my other blog “A Testimony of My Christian Faith” and I want to state here that I am still at prayer for the least and the unsaved. These people are mostly on my mind everyday. It seems like they try to seek peace through religion and rituals. Religions like Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Scientology, Witchcraft, Atheism/Agnosticism, and all other unbelievers, and so on. I am praying for their conviction and their conversion.

Religions like the Nation of Islam (Black Muslims) in particular, I am praying relentlessly for their conviction by the power of the Holy Ghost of their sins and I truly hope they will feel it soon and when they do, I pray that they will know true repentance and that Jesus will knock on their doors and then dine with them. Once they ask Jesus into their hearts, they will be washed in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. I will continue to pray for them until their hearts overflow with a massive and heavy conviction convincing them to look to the cross to be saved by putting their faith and trust on the Lord Jesus Christ. I am confident that some of them had already left the movement to embrace Jesus Christ and there could be some leaving the movement for Jesus Christ right now. But I am at prayer for the rest of the men and women who are still in bondage in their manmade religions. Even of they leave their religions to embrace Jesus Christ, they will have enemies and they will rise up against them and spread devilish lies about them

I am also praying for an individual. I will not mention his name. I do not know him personally. But I know is that he is now an Atheist. He grew up Christian, but later converted to Islam, and he is now an Atheist. It really moved me. That’s why I am at prayer for him. Until he turns to Jesus Christ, I will continue to pray for his conviction. I earnestly pray that he will feel the conviction in time and he will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ because I really hate to hear about people who are lost and I pray for them to be found. The Devil is trying to blind the eyes of every man and I just pray that Jesus will break down the barriers that the enemy has built.

I will not cease at praying for these individuals. You see, prayer is like a pumping faucet. You keep pumping it until drops of water comes out and you also keep pumping it until plethora water streams out. So that’s the way it should be. I could be wrong on some points, but I am just concerned for those who are not saved. That’s why I have them lifted up in prayer. I will not release their names because I don’t believe in putting people on blast. Not only it is disrespectful to them, but it is disrespectful to myself as well because it could have been me. I write this article NOT to gain media attention. But rather, I write this article as a prayer request pleading people to turn away from their religious bondage and start believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

People in religions, (especially the ones I mentioned earlier), I just pray that they will look to the cross of Christ to be saved once they fell that conviction. I hope and pray that they do it as soon as possible (A.S.A.P.)

Well brothers and sisters, thank you for taking your time to listen to me. Take Care! Please pray for these men and women for their conviction and conversion to believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost!

Your Brother in Christ,
-Victor

P.S. As I said earlier, this is a prayer pleading them to flee from their man-made religious bondage and turn to Jesus Christ. I will keep praying relentlessly for their conviction that God is about to put in their hearts. I pray that Jesus will appear in their dreams whenever they are asleep. Jesus is the only man with Peace, Tranquility, and Serenity! That’s all there is to it!!!

Happy New Year 2011! Another God Given Year!

I want to thank GOD for another year. I am thankful that I am still living. Jesus is still my Lord, my Savior, my Light, and my Pathway to Heaven. I am still washed in the blood of the Lamb of Jesus Christ. In the year 2010, I had plethora good times. I even had painful times when I lost my faithful uncle, a couple of my longtime high school friends, my former English teacher, and a coach from high school. I am committed to keep my high school lifted up in prayer. My family is in my prayer too. That includes my associates, my other friends, those I communicate with on the web, our politicians, and everyone.

Do you remember when the earthquake stroke the nation of Haiti last year? When I heard about it, I was stunned. I will pray for our Haitian brothers and sisters there because what if it was me or anyone in my family or anyone of my associates or friends. It could have been one of us. Well, I thank the Lord for His infinite mercy and His forgiveness when we were going out of hand. Although, there is still some people out there committing a number of crimes, I pray that God will send a massive conviction unto them and forgive them. Basically, I just pray that they will turn their backs on their wicked ways and turn to Jesus Christ. That’s All!!!

God has blessed us throughout the year 2010. I am more than just thankful. I am ready to start a new chapter. I want to wish everyone out there a Blessed Happy New Year. Making a New Years’ resolution isn’t really that easy for anyone, but for me, my resolution is to keep on following the Lord Jesus Christ on this pathway to everlasting life. Though I am a sinner deserving eternal destruction, but due to the God‘s mercy and love, He sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die on the cross at Calvary for our sins. Thankfully, it is the Grace of God and the shed blood of Jesus Christ, my faith and trust is in Jesus Christ.

In closing, I pray that God will bless and keep each and everyone of us. In the name of Jesus! Amen!

Your Brother In Christ,
-Victor

P.S. May the LORD watch between me and thee, when we’re absent, one from another. In Jesus’ name, AMEN FOREVERMORE!!!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://thecountrybrother.blogspot.com/2010/12/happy-new-year-2011-another-god-given.html' title='Happy New Year 2011! I am truly thankful to have Him as my Lord and my Personal Savior today. He is my only friend for real. I do have earthly friends here on God’s green earth. As a matter of fact, Jesus is my partner, my light, and my pathway to the Kingdom of Heaven. He is also my King and my Shepherd. I thank Him for everything He did for me and the rest of the sheep in his flock. He is the only man who can give you peace, tranquility, and serenity. All of these so-called peace treaties to end war are part of the New World Order agenda. I pray for peace in the nations of Israel and Palestine. I love ALL mankind. I consider myself a Trinitatian Christian because I believe in the Biblical Trinity.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to the Kingdom of Heaven. No religion can grant you eternal life. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a perfect life that you and I could not live. God loves each and everyone of us, so He sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to die on the cross at Calvary for our sins because we were in danger of eternal destruction. He paid our sin debt that we couldn’t even pay and He paid for our crimes and He paid for the laws we’ve broken. Jesus paid it ALL while on the cross and He shed His precious antiseptic blood to cleanse us from all filthiness. Christ died and He was taken to the grave for burial and three days later, He physically and bodily rose from the dead and He is currently seated at the right hand of God the Father. I’m blessed to say that the Lord Jesus Christ has our debt “PAID IN FULL!”

Jesus stated that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the one who has that key to everlasting life, but only for those who put their faith and trust in Him. Because of our sins, Jesus suffered the punishment WE deserve. I am forever thankful for His salvation and a second chance. The Lord Jesus Christ deserves more praises, worships, and honors than ever! Other religions such as Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Scientology, Nation of Islam (Black Muslims), Taoism, Atheism/Agnosticism, Confucianism, Voodoo, Witchcraft, and the list goes on, I just pray in Jesus’ name that God will send a massive conviction onto the people by the power of the Holy Ghost for their sins and I pray for their repentance, conversion, and their salvation. Especially the Nation of Islam [as I mentioned earlier], I am praying relentlessly for their conviction of sins and for their repentance and conversion. I am doing the same for the Atheists, Agnostics, and the rest of the unbelievers as well because it hurts my feelings when I hear them deny God’s existence and they discredit Him every time. That is exactly why I have them lifted up in prayer.

I will keep praying for the Persecuted Christians (Martyrs) around the world because their attackers simply hate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, so they tend to persecute the Christians to make themselves feel better. I do pray for their conviction, repentance, conversion, and I hope they will open their doors to Jesus. In certain countries, they adopt religious laws to force Christians to convert to some certain religion against their will. These poor Christians are being persecuted 24/7 across the globe. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Let’s NOT forget about the poor, the needy, the homeless, the hungry, the thirsty, and those who don’t have anything at all. Including those on Skid Row, California. I’ve never gone there, but I’ve seen some videos about it on the web and I tell you, it seems depressing there because I hate to see them suffer. I will keep praying for them. In my neighborhood, I sometimes see a homeless who stands around the corner store. He sometimes asks for change so he could buy something. Sadly, the store clerk is sometimes rude to him. I gave him some change once before, but I don’t remember when. I wanted to help him out. It really drives dome to me when I see a homeless person. I shall always pray for him.

There are plethora others who just need to be kept in prayer. I am currently praying for a brother who currently incarcerated and on lockdown in prison for a crime he did not commit. It is sad, but true. I don’t know this brother personally. I remember I’ve written to him a while back and he responded to me with an appreciative letter. It really moved me when I heard the news about him back in 2007. I am committed to pray continuously for him. As a matter of fact, I am committed to pray for all the falsely arrested and the wrongfully imprisoned. Whenever our government becomes tyrannical, let’s go to our Lord and He will handle the matter. I pray for his protection from evil and I pray that God will send the Holy Ghost to work through his attorneys and lawyers because I pray for his release. I also pray that God will give him a peace of mind in the name of Jesus Christ!

And those who have been in and out of jail at times before, they are in my prayers. Do you remember Mychal Bell? I am talking about the one during the controversy in Jena, Louisiana back in the year 2007. The majority of the people thought it was race related when all six of them were in a fight with someone. I’m not condoning what they did to each other. I just want to see all of them saved. God is no respecter of persons, neither am I. So I am at prayer for their guidance. That includes suspects and victims. If any of them do anything wrong, I pray for their conviction and repentance. I am confident that they started new chapters, but I will keep them lifted up in prayer as I pray for you and I.

All of the fugitives and criminals everywhere, I do pray for their conviction from the Holy Ghost and know true repentance. Wherever they may be in jails, prisons, detention centers, and even on death rows (though I do believe they can still repent when they still have time). God will even forgive the vilest sinners. Suppose if I had an unfinished connection of coins until a thief broke in and stole the whole thing. Though I might be a bit upset, but I’d still forgive the thief. Do you remember the story about the thief dying on the cross? He repented and Jesus forgave him. When I was in the high school in the ninth grade, my teacher gave of us a bag of Christmas candy. I later then left it unattended for a brief restroom break and when I came back in the room, half of it was already gone. I was upset when half of my candy. It was kind of my fault because I shouldn’t have left it in the first place. Of course, later on, a friend of mine who came in late and she found out what happened to me. She gave me some candy. She didn’t have to do it, but she did. May the Lord bless her and keep her. I did forgive and forget about it, even though I didn’t know who did it. It wasn’t until the next year when I was in the tenth grade, my friends and I were talking over some stuff. One of them admitted that he stole the candy from me. I wasn’t even mad or upset. I was just happy that he told me the truth. Addition to that, after class, I thanked him for telling me the truth. ALL WAS FORGIVEN!

During the week of my uncle’s death, one of my high school friends died in a car accident. One month later, another one of my high school friends passed away too. They graduated with me back in 2006. One month later, my former high school English teacher died because of cancer, and a former coach from my high school had died. I am committed to pray for the high school I used to attend and graduated from. All of the teachers, students, faculty and staff members, and the presiding principal. The same goes to all of the former teachers, former students, former faculty & staff members, and of course, all the former principals too. I hardly watch too much television anymore, but I did take a look at a reality show on MTV. There was a high school with students in the gymnasium. I don’t know the name title of the show, but all of the students were touched by a message some speaker was given. It moved them to tears and at the end, all the students hugged each other and there was reconciliation between them. May the Lord be with them. That’s exactly what I am praying for - for my high school. I pray that God will bring peace and reconciliation to their hearts, forgive them of their sins and bless them and keep them.

And family, which is the most important value to the people. Everyone in my family is in my prayers. I love my family unconditionally and I will never know what will happen. Whether it is myself, my siblings, my parents, my grandparents, my aunts, my uncles, and my cousins. I am talking about my entire family, even those whom I haven’t seen in whiles. Back in March of 2010 after the week of my birthday, my faithful uncle passed away unrepentantly. It was very devastating and painful. He was my pastor at my church. My mother encourages me to stay strong. She gave me some words of wisdom. She told me that my heart has a hole in it. After a few weeks passed by, I started to painless and better again. I was back at peace. It has been said, “Time heals all wounds”. Well, it is true. I agree. Time DOES heal, if you simply give Jesus your time with patience. That’s All…

I truly want to thank the Lord for being with us, even on dark days. I am thankful for EVERYTHING he has given us. I thank Him for His blessings, I thank Him for His mercy, I thank Him for His forgiveness, and I thank Him for paying the ultimate price for our sins on Calvary’s cross. And last, but not least, I thank Him for His precious antiseptic blood to wash away our sins. When we as believers stand before Him in glory, we will not be covered in our filthy righteousness anymore. That’s right, we will be clothed in the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Risen & Personal Savior.

I would like to thank all who took the time to listen to me and may all of you have a blessed one. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus.
Amen Forevermore.

P.S. Whenever I hear a siren outside, whether is an ambulance, a fire truck, and maybe a police officer, I pray for those who are involved: whether they are badly sick or hurt, injuries, if their house caught fire, or any type of emergencies. If a person is being arrested, I pray for the person. Thanks again and May God Bless, Keep, and Guide You All!

I wish you ALL Peace, Tranquility, and Serenity from our Lord Jesus Christ!!!
Be God’s.

Why I Don't Celebrate Halloween

We all know that Halloween is some sort of tradition what most American children celebrate. I used to celebrate it until I grew out of it. As you can see, Halloween may seem to be kind of fun, and at the same time it can be controversial. I celebrated Halloween a few times before when I was a toddler and a child. We knock on doors and when opened, we say "Trick-or-Treat!" We received candy. Receiving candy is a good thing, but some things a child receives may make a parent, or guardian, or a grown-up feel uncomfortable. You can't put your trust in everyone out there. Grown-ups who guard the children must use caution and be aware of what the child may receive. When I was 15 years of age in high school in the ninth grade, I wanted to go Trick-or-Treating. My parents declined the permission for to do so. I received candy from my parents instead. So I stayed at home and ate candy and listened to music on the radio. During the day on Halloween at high school in 2002, kids were throwing eggs. During that day, some kid was passing out invitations so some Halloween party. That happened in middle school too. I wanted to attend those parties. Anyways, the next day, a boy asked me did I do Trick-or-Treating, I said, "No, I'm too old." And then he said, "You're just mad because you didn't go." It's kind of like that and since he said that, my maturity had rose. I remember at my high school on every Halloween, we were asked to remove our knapsacks and backpacks to do an examination of what could be in there and we get them back during lunch period. When I talked about the Halloween tradition with my parents, I was told that it was against my religion. As a Christian Conservative myself, Halloween is against Christianity and God Almighty (our creator). When I was talking about it with my neighbor, she said it can be celebrated in God's way. When someone puts suspicious things in the child's bag, bucket, container, whatever they may hold, the person is doing demonic and satanic activities. There could people out there who is demon-possessed. Our Lord is a jealous God and we shall NOT worship other gods or be deceived by false prophets. If any child out there going to celebrate Halloween or go Trick-or-Treating, they must be accompanied by a grown-up. I still eat candy, but that has nothing to do with Halloween. It's actually a pagan tradition anyhow. I don't celebrate Halloween anymore. I am 23 years of age. I actually been grew out of it. Well, go ahead and have fun. The children must have supervision at full contact. Be safe out there. If you're driving, don't even think of drinking while driving. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! Don't talk to strangers. That is my point of view and my advice to you all. Have a blessed one.

Be God's!

;-)

Academic Supremacy

Hello folks, this is my rant about my past educational life in school during my teenage years. When I was in middle school, every grade level was separated into five teams from A-E. There were mascots represented in every team. It is a good thing to be represented and it is good for the classes to be well-managed. But there are several issues about middle school grade level teams that I am uncomfortable with. During my years in middle school, there was always an irrational competition against each other somehow. Although, they do not hate each other. In my point of view, it seemed like someone was always trying to excel the other (or be better than the other). I was on a team with my class one time in the seventh grade. I was talking with a friend about the teams and he said that his team was the smartest team ever. Another person said that as well. And then there were those people, who were constantly boasting about how smart their teams were and claiming other teams to be low. Yes, certain teams do fun things. I was part of the movement, but I never boasted though. Even though I never boasted about them, I didn’t even brag about teams because it really didn’t matter to me. There were even events on my team that I forgot to participate in, but it was no big deal though. Those who thought their teams were smarter and better than any other team, I really think they were building their own supremacy. It felt like they were superior to the rest and they also think that the other teams are inferior to them. Yes, I am autistic and I’ve been in the Special Education program since first grade at the age of 7. At least I learned plethora things throughout my school years. I even learned tough words. I even participated in the Spelling Bee in elementary school in the sixth grade and I won Third Place. In modern middle schools, there are grades Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grades, but why the teams? I wouldn’t separate the weak from the strong. That doesn’t make sense to me. Everyone has their own weaknesses, including me. I thought we were supposed to stay in school, get ourselves together so we could move on, not to be overlooking the weak and nit-picking through their abilities. I am not going to say all, but very few who I ran to, they were not actually talking about teams, but even as an autistic human being, I was labeled a “sped” by those who care only for themselves. I remember one time in Home Economics class, we were going a project for display by making up a fictional restaurant. I was talking about baking another kind of cookies. I received compliments on my work. When it was done, it was posted on the wall in the hallway for display. Sadly, a week ago, it was removed. Maybe one of the kids did it. My teacher considered my work to be her favorite. I also remember times during lunch, I was looking for an open seat to be settled in and when I saw one, I immediately approached the seat, the people next to it just said that someone else was sitting there and I have to sit somewhere else. That didn’t happen every time because sometimes during high school, I ate at a table alone. I remember one time, the principal came to sit with me when I was sitting alone. One day, some girls also came to sit with me. I was blessed to have friends. As you know, I am tolerant towards people with disabilities. Lord knows I have the deepest care for them and I love them. Even God loves them. What I am really asking is: “Why were the people who label themselves smart, and yet they talk down on those with mental disabilities?” I do see a guy in my neighborhood sometimes. He is mentally ill. I do feel bad for him sometimes. We are not perfect in any way, shape, manner, or form. It doesn’t matter how smart or wise we are, we all have imperfection. Only God is Perfect. Jesus Christ (born of the Virgin Mary) lived a perfect sinless life. He lived the life that you and I could not live. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus healed everyone. He healed the blind, the lame, the dumb, and the deaf (mute). As a matter of fact, He is going to do it all when He comes back to comes back to this earth, set up his kingdom in Israel, and reign on earth for a thousand years. Jesus loves people with disabilities and I know deep down in my heart that He loves me and the rest of all humanity. I was once an apprentice when I worked at a school of deaf students. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless them richly and abundantly and the rest of us. I show tolerance to the least, the poor, the needy, the homeless, the less fortunate, the disabled, and everyone (including those who don’t even have a dime in their pockets. This is just my rant I had to get off my chest and I thank all who took the time to listen to me. May God Bless and Keep You ALL!!!

A Letter To My Lord and Savior: Jesus Christ

Dear Lord Jesus Christ (Son of God),

This is your friend Victor. This is more than just a thank you letter, but rather, this is a letter in communication with You. I want to thank you for paying the ultimate price by dying on the cross at Calvary for my sins so that my soul would be saved and have everlasting life in Heaven. If it wasn’t for You, we would all be punished forever. I ask you to keep on watching over us and please forgive us for whatever we have done wrong. That includes my entire family. Please forgive my brother, my sister, my mother, my father, my grandparents, my aunts, my uncles, my cousins, my friends (in You), and myself. Please wash and bathe us in your precious antiseptic shed blood and eliminate our sins. I truly understand your deepest and warmest that you have is deeply unconditional. When my brother and I rode to Clayton County that day, it was a beautiful rainfall. You sure did gave a nice pouring shower downpour. I consider that to be a blessing from You. You are my LORD and SAVIOR. Months ago, I saw a beautiful rainbow and I didn’t have my cell phone to take a picture of it. Because of you, I am no longer a bond to sin, which separates me from God the Father. I thank you for breaking down barriers of sin. No other god can save me from sin, only You have the power because your precious antiseptic shed blood eliminates sins on contact. And yes, You are my shepherd. Please forgive ALL the people who are doing wrong. Please touch their hearts and minds and enlighten them. Please bathe and wash them with your precious antiseptic shed blood from the crown of the head to the tip of the toe. Please work to change their minds and use your blood to remove the filth. As I am trying to become a writer, I will continue to have faith in You. I thank You for the free Gift of Salvation. I have strong prayers for my family because I care for them, including my friends and pen pals because when we die, I want to see them ALL in Heaven. That’s why I am praying HARD for them. Your precious antiseptic shed blood works better than rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and all of the other first aid materials. As a matter of fact, your precious antiseptic shed blood is the number one first aid material and it is free for those who want to rid themselves of the filth called sin. I know how much you love and need us. We also love you and we need to as well. That also goes to the people who are currently locked up in jails, prisons, death rows (I believe you can still give them another chance though), and the people who are on drugs. That also goes for the people who are nursery homes and the sick & shut in. I also pray for the poor, the needy, the homeless, and the less fortunate. I read the story about Lazarus and the rich man in the Holy Bible. The rich man was selfish, stingy, greedy, helpless, dark-souled, and cold-hearted. The poor man named Lazarus was in need. He had painful sores on him. When he died, he was carried by the angels to the bosom of Abraham. When the rich man died, he finally got what he deserved for being a cold-blooded filthy rich man. I remember when my father was driving on the interstate and there was a poor guy holding a cup out, so he decided to give to him. One day, he even made a sandwich for a person on the doorstep. Please pour your blessings out on him. I have given to the homeless before. So the poor, the needy, the homeless, and the less fortunate will remain in my prayers. The people I knew personally and the ones I chat with on the worldwide web, please bless them. And for a friend named Freddie Southwell, a man who is serving a 20-year sentence for a crime he didn’t commit, I have managed to pray for Him everyday for his release. And oh yeah, I also pray for the Christians who are being persecuted for their faith in You. So from this day forward, I will do my best to pray more than just often. This time, I am praying harder and harder and I will not cease. My life is dedicated and committed to You. I live for You, not for myself, nor anyone else. Anyways, I thank you for listening to me and I ask you to keep walking with me and put a shield around us to protect from ALL evil. In Your Name, Amen.

Your friend,
Victor Kendrick II

P.S. All of the nonbelievers, please touch their minds and hearts. Tell them the good news. Let them know that bad things will happen to them if they don't believe. In Your Name I Pray, Amen!

A Letter To My Longtime Friends V: The Honorary Letter

Dear Longtime Friends,

This is your friend Victor. I haven’t written a letter to you guys in about a year. I am writing to you all because I am celebrating the fourth anniversary of out high school graduation on May 27, 2006. Yes, we remember those good old days and times when we were gathered together for a farewell. We shared great moments with each other. There were plenty of laughter, lots of smiles on every face (that’s for sure), there were hugs and kisses, there were plenty of pictures taken, there were final greetings from our other class friends, and of course, there were tears of joy. It was really a joyous time for us. It was held at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. It was a wonderful place to have our graduation there. And after graduation, we bade farewell to each other and then we parted ways. And ever since then, I was in peace. Although, I still reminisce in the high school yearbook. Everything went well during the days ahead. It had been four years ever since we have parted ways for home. That was the peace that God brought upon me. It was a true blessing. I am still determined to be an underground and independent book writer and novelist. So I need for you guys to pray for me so that I'll make a prosperous time with it. Hopefully when it gets published, the people I knew would buy them first, and I'll donate most of the money to my church, give to charity, and the poor and needy.

Our Fallen Saints:
As we all know, our longtime friends: Jonathan Holloway and Damian Power are now deceased. Jonathan passed away in the same week when my uncle passed away. It was very devastating. But we must continue to remain strong in the Lord. If you still have the high school year books of your own, take the time to cherish the good times we have spent with Jonathan Holloway and Damian Power. May both of them rest in peace as they are now in the hands and arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. We shall keep on believing in Him. We will continue to walk on the path where God left footprints for us to follow. We will NEVER quit believing, praying, following, and worshiping Jesus Christ. Even though Jonathan, Damian, and my faithful uncle had passed away, it doesn’t mean that it is the end, but the beginning of a new chapter. They still live in our hearts spiritually with the Lord. I truly hope that these memories will never fade away like a playing film without any sound, but we shall remember like a portrait photo in a still frame.

The Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for allowing us to be here on your land and letting us serve you, glorify you, praise you, follow you, magnify you, and obey you in the name of Jesus. We ask you to keep watching over us and protecting us from ALL evil and against the adversaries. If it wasn’t for you Lord, we wouldn’t have made it thus far. We thank you for sending your only begotten son Jesus Christ to die on the Calvary cross for our sins. We are ALL sinners and Jesus paid the huge price for our sins so our names would be written in the Book of Life and we would go to Heaven and dwell there forever. We thank you for our parents for raising us since we were infants and toddlers. Without them, we would be here on this planet Earth right now. Lord, we thank you for all the blessings you have poured upon us over the years. You are an AWESOME God we serve. We pray that we will never sin against thee. We can’t thank you enough. As life goes on, we will remember each other in prayer, in Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:7 [King James Version]

As always: Remember to stay strong, stay on top of your game everyday and like I said in my first chapter, Don't back down for anyone! He was a preacher and my pastor. I have knew him well ever since I was a toddler. Every time I attend church, I listened to him preach the Word of God. Although I joined a Baptist church when I was an infant, Elder Donald Bowden had been a preacher at a local non-denominational church with the holiness doctrine. I know him for a long time. It first started in a church home. It was a regular-sized house. We worshiped there for a while. Not only I enjoyed listening to them, but he was a great Christian minister who was perfectly used by God on ALL occasions. He also enjoyed helping the poor and those who were in need. His heart was always warm inside. He was a devout Christian and he NEVER set one foot out of his faith. He was a true man of God. He always visits nursing homes to show love and care for the people there. He even preached the gospel and sing songs to them and the rest of the family did too. Bowden even invited ministers from other churches to preach at his church. He even preach at other churches too. And guess what, I enjoyed listening to the preachers he invited as well. We didn't worship at the little church forever, so Elder Donald Bowden thought of a master plan. He made a suggestion for us to make donations for bricks to build a new church. So we made donations. While the church was under construction, my brother and I went with my grandfather to help him with the church. Years before, he held a fund-raising carnival on the land of the future church. Though we were still at the church house at the time, we were still preparing for the new church building. I am forever grateful for him bring the gospel to me. Better yet, I am thankful for a man like him and God deserves all of the praise from us. He always buy bread for the church and many more things. We even went on trips with the church. I will always remember, cherish, and reminisce on the good times I had with my uncle. His legacy will carry on, but NO ONE can clone him whatsoever. He knew which buttons to push and he knew what went wrong. He is now in the Hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope we meet each other again because only God can do it. Thank you all for listening to me and I am wishing you a blessed one.

Be God's.
-Victor

A Letter To My Longtime Friends IV: Future Plans

Dear Longtime Friends,

This is your friend Victor. Today is May 27, 2009, the anniversary of our high school graduation. I decided to write to you guys to reflect on the pastime and what we did together. We must keep this day "sacred" and "unforgettable". We must never forget. Anyways, I always tend to move on (which I'm doing). I haven't even started college yet, but I am making plans though. I am currently saving aluminum cans again. This time, I am saving them up so I can get the money I need to go to college. I know I can apply for a scholarship for a grant anytime, but NEVER a student loan. That aluminum can money will be extra just in case. I am trying my best to become an underground novelist/writer. I want to earn a degree in English/Literature. When I'm in college, I will try and join and become a brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. It's not just that I wanted to, back in 2006, days before my high school graduation, I received an award from Eta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for my scholastic achievements and I was encouraged to continue my educational development in a post-secondary institution. I will do everything I can and I pray to God for more guidance and help. When I do pledge and join the fraternity, I would help do community service with the other people who are already in the frat, including Eta Omega Chapter. Since I'm trying to become a novelist, maybe I can have the fraternity chapter sell my books everywhere, but I must remain underground while selling them. I don't care too much about the mainstream. Maybe I'll be a poet or something like that, maybe an artist in visual arts. I keep my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyways, I am saving aluminum cans again because the last time when I turned them in, they didn't pay near enough. All I received is $35.00. The stock markets were low and our economy is SCREWED UP! I also pray that that economy will be boosted so we can enjoy ourselves again. So I strongly urge President Barack Obama to take action and get serious and strict with Congress and the Senate. As always: Remember to stay strong, stay on top of your game everyday and like I said in my first chapter, Don't back down for anyone! Keep living for our Lord Jesus Christ!

Everybody Take Care Now,
-Victor

P.S. I wish everyone good luck here in America. I am going to explain more about the plans I made. Even though I missed three years of college, I can still make plans to go. When I do, I will be able to pick my own classes that is compatible with my own ability. Saving money for college will remain hard. Always have been and always well be. It is not easy whatsoever. I am doing the best I can to save money. Maybe I can get a grant or something, but NEVER a student loan in any way, shape, manner, or form. Look, I am not perfect at anything. I'm just hoping for the best. Anyways, I know how hard it is, but I am still walking through the challenging maze I chose. And oh yeah, my aunt told me I could get a HOPE scholarship, maybe I'll get that. I am trying to become a novelist and an artist (NOT IN MUSIC), but in Visual Arts. I want to travel the world to visit other peaceful countries. Either way, I am finding the best way to get to college. When I was in high school, I joined a club called "Young Men Of Distinction". I am still a distinctive young man today and ever since I graduated from high school, I embraced a college fraternity called the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity since I was awarded by Eta Omega Chapter. I still have the award in my yearbook. I am willing to take that pledge. Anyways, I love doing artwork. I took art classes five times when I was in high school. I also have a passion for writing nonfiction and fiction that makes sense. God gave me those abilities. Artwork, writing, and being a DISTINCTIVE young man are all my strengths. All of that is the Gift from God and I have Him to thank for it. Allow me to share you some bible scriptures:

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. - Thessalonians 5:18

Yet, if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. - 1 Peter 4:16

Thanks to all who took time to read what I had to get off my chest. Now that I have a new Windows XP computer, I can continue with my book which I am typing on the computer. I have plethora time on my hands with really nothing to do. I truly understand that college is highly expensive to pay for. I am doing my best to save up for it. Oh, I forgot to tell you last month, I turned in my aluminum cans and I received $35.00. WHAT?! THIRTY-FIVE FREAKING DOLLARS! They didn’t pay near enough. Well, at least I did something productive though. The stock markets were down and the people aren’t buying low and selling high. We have a crummy economy which is screwed up. Anyways, I am currently saving aluminum cans again, which I hope to get more money this time. I’m going to do everything I can so I can get off my tail and go to college. Since I have the Grace of God, anything can happen. So I pray that I will have thousands of dollars. I will keep working hard. I will keep praying to our Lord Jesus Christ for guidance. I will also keep collecting loose change, which I’ve been doing for a long time since January 2004 until the Crystal Springs’ Water jug gets full, and then I will take them all to Coinstar at the nearest grocery store so I can turn them all into cash. I collect dollar bills too you know. I will do everything I can to avoid these vicious student loans. I understand that colleges and fraternities are not for everyone, but I made a choice and I will be sure to join a fraternity. I discovered Eta Omega Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. I was awarded by them for my scholastic achievement in 2006. I still have the award in my high school yearbook. When I get ready to join the fraternity, I will be sure to show the certificate that was given to me. As for now, I am still working on my books so I can get them published. Anyways, I will continue to serve the Lord as long as I live. It is always in my heart to do that. And for my past accomplishments, I owe my thanks and praises to God. I will pray for others too. Mostly, I will pray to continue my education and things, so I am asking God to guide me and teach me. I want to do in life. I am also doing this in dedication to my late grandfather who passed away in November 2005. I am praying for more help. And to my friends I know and those I don’t know personally; those individuals who gave me advice, I will pray for you all. I really can’t thank God enough. I can’t thank Jesus enough for paying the ultimate price with three nails and one cross. I am forever grateful. So I am asking for guidance from God so I can so everything I can. Thank you all and May God Bless Each and Everyone of You!

Forever Your Brother in Christ,

-Vic

Happy New Year - The Year 2009 Has Made A Landing

Once again, I think GOD for another year. 2009 has just begun. The past year 2008 has been officially brought to a close and we expect new things. It was okay for me and now we expect new lives and new hopes. 2008 was filled with happiness, laughter, and drops of boredom. So most of 2008 was awesome, but I expect the new year 2009 will be more than just awesome. However, I still do my favorite hobbies like collecting aluminum cans: (I've been collecting them for a year since the beginning of January 2008. Sooner or later, I will take them all to the recycling place.) I still collect pennies and other coins. And I'm still doing my writing in my book. I can't thank God enough for everything he has given for us. I'm still hoping to continue to full my dreams and my destiny. My longtime friends are still in my thoughts and prayers. this time, I need more motivation to fulfill my destiny. I am also praying for President George W. Bush and President-elect Barack Obama and his administration. I just hope he does the right thing and not mess up. My prayers also go out to Senator John McCain and his family and Governor Sarah Palin and her family. Her daughter Bristol Palin gave birth to a newborn baby. Let us remember everyone across the globe in prayer. We don't have to know them personally, just pray, that's the only key. Anyways, I want to say Happy New Year to everyone. Alright, I may be a cool dude and I have a lot of hobbies. I don't be out there having fun like I should be, but something is happening. My mind is playing tricks on me. I was expecting an outcome. Ever since I rearranged my room last summer, I thought it would bring me back to the Summer of 2006 days right after I graduated from high school. So I plan to rearrange my room every two seasons. I am doing this to make my days look descent, even on rainy days (which they are the best). Back in January, my friend would come over and play video games. He would bring his PlayStation 2 and some games. We played video games almost everyday. That's how I prepared my tree of fun. In the middle of February, I bought myself a PlayStation 2 and a video game, that was the first seed of fun to be planted. Weeks later, I bought more games. The following week, I ordered an old PlayStation game from the internet and it was mailed to me on my birthday. I started playing. I walked to the mailbox and when I saw the package, it was the video game I ordered from the internet. So I ran into my room, opened the package, and then I started playing the game. That was the ultimate seed of fun. Weeks later, I ordered another video game. That was three trees of fun. During those times, I had comforting times. I even had the chance to visit my brother and his new home. When we left there, we went out to eat at Ryan's All-You-Can-Eat Restaurant. When I got home, the fun continues. It was like having a good luck charm with you and it brought back good days of the 90's and some new good-looking days. Those fun times I had only lasted for a few months. After all that, I rearranged my room just to bring my old summer days back, but it didn't happen.Anyways, I had Windows Vista for a while. I had it since April 2007. I had got it because I wanted to explore new technology. This is about when good technology goes bad. Almost every time I use Internet Explorer, it goes alright until a freaking box pop up and say "Internet Explorer has stopped working!" This is one of the most annoying features of Windows Vista. I am currently using Mozilla Firefox for substitution. You should use it. I don't know about you, but this is my opinion and most people agree with me. There are more things I hate about Windows Vista; I hate it when the Adobe Flash Player stops working. Yes, this is happening to me on Internet Explorer and I'm not liking it. When you use Mozilla Fox, you're good to go. I can't even do much on Windows Vista. Ever since I arranged my files from my old Windows XP to my Windows Vista, I thought they were going to stay on there. Weeks later, when I click on any of those icons that contains my old files, I CAN'T OPEN THEM! I remember last year when my computer suffered a nasty trojan virus and when we cleaned it all out, it felt like new again, (EXCEPT FOR CERTAIN PARTS), I couldn't access my iTunes and Windows Media Player. So I opened up an additional Windows account for back-up. I should have thought twice before getting a Windows Vista. The reason why I chose Windows Vista back in April 2007, it was because it was new, neat, and the graphics looked kind of sexy and artistic. [I just had to admit that.] When I was 12 years old, my elementary school principal said, "If YOU don't do your job well, you'll get fired."Of course Windows Vista didn't do its job well for me. I hate Windows Vista with a burning, fiery, smoking passion. If Vista was a person and if she works for Microsft, I would walk up to her and say, "Vista, you're fired..." So I had fun with stuff, but when time passed by, the tree of fun I planted became fragile. It stumbled on the edge, it fell, crashed to pieces and burned to ashes. However, I plan to do a rebirth and I hope will last long.

That's it.
God Bless...

-Victor

Why I Collect Aluminum Cans

I enjoy collecting aluminum cans because it is fun, simple, and easy. Aluminum can collecting is a hobby of mine. It is not just a hobby, it also helps the economy. I started collecting cans when I was a child right after my toddler age. That was the time when I was interested in aluminum cans. Over the years, I collected cans, but failed many times to turn the cans in for the cash. But this time, it is a huge improvement which at least I hope. I've been collecting aluminum cans since January 2008. That was the time I had to start over. I started back collecting aluminum cans doring the Summer of 2007. A few months later, I failed. But this time, my perseverance will make sure I do it right. My timing is making sure I put an end to this procrastination. Even though I started over in January 2008, It will still take me a heck of a long time. Longer than you expect. At least it might, but not that long. I am making progress with then though. During that time I had to start over, I just rinsed the cans out so the insects can be kept away from the cans. I take a beige Rubbermaid garbage can, I place a clear trash bag inside, and then placed the aluminum cans inside. I've been doing well. Three and a half months later, the cans started getting full. A few days later, I realized that it was not enough, so I decided to take every aluminum can and smash each and everyone of them. I crushed them flat with my foot wearing steel toe boots. Some of them or maybe half of them, I placed materials on top of the cans and then stomp down to smash them. Since I don't have an automatic can crusher machine, I simply wear my steel toe boots and when I smash them, I press down on the cans real hard. When I try to smash large beer cans or large juice cans, I use strong force. That was the best idea I ever chose because when you smash your cans until the container of cans gets full, then you are putting weight on the container. Just wait until it gets heavy and take them to the recycling plant and you will receive a large amount of money, I mean LOTS! I bet you will be the happiest person on Earth like a rich and wealthy person. I bet you will probably get that kind of feeling for the feeling you deserve. So place yourself in my shoes and see how I'm doing with these cans. I mostly collect aluminum cans, but I don't just collect cans, I collect any type of aluminum such as aluminum pie pans, aluminum baking deep dish pans, and used aluminum foil. I remember a couple of months back on May 27, 2008 when I was celebrating the anniversary of my graduation. Anyways, during that time, my dad gave me a bag of 60 cans what someone gave to him. So I grabbed the bucket from my backyard and brought it in the hosue. I grabbed the soap and proceeded to the bathroom with the cans and the bucket. Seconds later, I closed the door. I placed the bucket in the tub, filled it up with water, I put a little bit of soap in, and then the cans. I save the aluminum can tabs as well. After I washed all of those cans, I used the bucket for rinsing water. So I began to rinse the cans out. After all that, I shook the excess water out of all the cans, and then I put them back in the bucket and proceeded to the back porch and then I start smashing them. I was already feeling sweat dripping down my face and I was drenched with sweat. It took me several minutes to smash and after I did all that, I placed the cans I smashed into the contianer. Boy, I made myself a slave by working too hard. I took no break, not even five minutes. So I owe it to myself, mainly to God. I actually made myself my own apprentice. I still collect aluminum cans and I am doing quite well and the garbage can with the aluminum cans inside is gaining weight. That means I am putting more effort to it. I will keep working hard and not give up. I will not back down for anyone. I won't back down for you, not even for myself. I will not surrender. I refuse to retire and I will not wimp out. I don't care if strong and tough men with muscles and abs think I'm some wimp. If I was to give up and lose the cans, I lose the money and the effort I put into it. Whenever I see a can on the ground or street, it's finders keepers. I'm going to pick it up when I see it. Anyways, thank you all for reading this blog. I wish you all the best.

-Vic

Suburban Summer II: Work & Play [part two]

Okay, this is the second part of the second chapter of the Suburban Summer blog. I record everything I see. On June 28th, 2008, another live party took place on the road I live on in my neighborhood. It happened at night. I assume this is a rare nocturnal event. During the daytime, I was on my computer doing things. During the afternoon, I hung around the house and I was playing my PlayStation 2 almost all day. I was drinking plenty of water to quench my thirst. I was preparing a few cans to recycle. Later then, I grab the bug spray to kill a few ants. I was listening to some awesome music earlier then. I downloaded the whole album. A few hours later, I was eating some snacks. Later on, I went on my back porch to guard my aluminum cans to see how much weight I am putting on the can. I always crush the aluminum cans before I place them in the can. But when nighttime occured, the road was already filled with vehicles and then another live party. I went outside and finally put those aluminum scrap metal with the other ones. The same time, I was feeding my dog and my puppy. I was outside and I saw the scene. I saw colered lights and the people there. I went in the bathroom and opened the window and then listen to the music. I heard a live disc jockey speaking while playing the music. I stayed in there for minutes. It was like another dimension of Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio by sitting next to my window. I remember back the 1990's, I went to a party with my family, I played with some other children and I heard a disc jockey playing music. If you were in my shoes, you would know. Anyways, back on the topic. Later then, I poured some black cherry soda beverage in my blue water bottle to sip on. I went backm in the bathroom to open the window to hear more of it. After hours, it went back to a quiet night and all the vehicles were gone. The atmosphere was clean and the coast was clear. Everything back back to normal. My dogs were barking with the other ones, and the my dogs went to sleep. So did I. When typing this blog, I record everything what happened in my sight. You can count on the music media to cover up for you. I have my own media out. It's called "The Life Planner" and I will not cover up for you. Thank you fpr reading this blog. Good Night.

Be God's.

Suburban Summer II: Work & Play

Alright, this is the second chapter of this blog here. The same thing happened last year. On June 20, 2008, another live party took place at two houses away from mine in my neighborhood. I was working for my neighbor for a few hours. I got paid and then I watered the rest of the plants. My neighbor as leaving again. As I was watering the plants in the front yard, the sun began to set. As the sun was setting, many vehicles were filling the street and the people were walking up the street. I was still watering the plants for my neighbor and five minutes later, I smelled a barbeque. It was far, but not that far. I have good nostrils when I smell something. They do act up sometimes. When I got finished with my work, I went home. I recycled five cans to put with my aluminum can collection. And once again, I heard music and a live disc jockey. I saw colored lights again. Whe I was putting the aluminum cans away for the collection on my back porch, I took a peek at the scene. I walked outside down the stairs from my back porch and walked to get a closer look while standing in my yard. If I had a pair of binoculars, maybe I could view the scene up close. Maybe I would be watching the scene on satellite television. In my last chapter, I mentioned about the Sirius Satellite Radio in another dimension by sitting next to your window or an open door. Even when you're outside in your garden. Maybe it could be another dimension of satellite television. I remember when I was a teenager, I went on my front porch and in my driveway to listen to the music that was playing by the disc jockey at the party that happened at nighttime. I assume that this is a rare personal nocturnal event almost every summer. Maybe soon, I will see it through, seek the truth, and see what is really happening. Next day in the afternoon when I was walking to my grandparents' house to deposit ten dollars in my life savings, I picked up a few aluminum cans off the street from the party scene to put with my collection. I picked them up as I was walking the road I live on. Thank you for listening to me and I wish you all Peace and Tranquility. You have my word.

Be God's.

A Letter To My Longtime Friends III: Graduation Anniversary

Dear Longtime Friends,

This is your friend Victor who graduated from high school back in May 27, 2006. This is the third chapter if my letter to my former high school friends. The reason why I am writing to you is that I want to remember our graduation day back then. Do you guys remember that time when we were gathered together for a farewell? I sure do. I agree that was one of the best times of our lives. It was a gratifying day and I was extremely proud. We graduated at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. Bishop Eddie Long was a nice guy. The atmosphere was nice inside, even when we did graduation practice before the day of our graduation. I know what you're wondering; "What am I currently doing with my life?" Well, the answer to your question is, "I am currently trying to become a book writer for the future and I am still busy with it. I am working on a book at a computer and I am writing one by hand. It might take longer than you expect, but you guys should keep in touch with me." Hey guess what. Last month, my brother went to pick up the high school diplomas because I was supposed to pick them up right on the week after graduation, but someone forgot to take me. I had to keep my parents up with it so they wouldn't forget. In August 2006, I typed up a respectfully friendly letter I wrote to the school. I waited and waited day after day for a response, but I didn't receive any type of response regarding to my high school diploma. I kept talking about life with my family by telephone and internet (e-mailing). In May 2007, my records came in the mail, but it had nothing to do with the diploma. Weeks before that, I went on the internet to search for the phone number to contact the school. I was told that I have to order them. ORDER THEM?! When it was time for the kids to go back to school in August 2007, my sister goes to school so I was thinking about having her to get the high school diplomas for me, but my brain and my heart was having an argument with each other LOL. My brain said it was necessary, but my heart said I need to handle it myself because it was my business. I kept talking about it every once in a while. Alright, when a year passed by, when my brother came to visit, he had showed me the diplomas. He called me to the car to show them to me. I was working for my neighbor across the street. Once I saw them, I felt rejuvenated. So I decided to keep focusing on my future plans. As always: Remember to stay strong, stay on top of your game everyday and like I said in my first chapter, Don't back down for anyone! I haven’t typed a blog in a while. Just recently last week on Saturday, I celecrated my twenty-first birthday. Now I am facing new hopes and other stuff that God had ahead for me. I am truly thankful for all the blessings that He brought upon me during the past years. I am not going to give up on life. I will continue to follow God and obey His laws. A few days ago, I went to the store. I told the store clerk that I am twenty-one. And he said that I am officially legal. What does the ages 18 and 21 have in common? Alright now, just because I am twenty-one doesn’t mean I should give up on video games. In fact, I bought a PlayStation 2 in February. "Puzzle Quest" is one of my favorite games on PlayStation 2. Days ago, I bought more games. I’m still on my ventures on collecting pennies and loose chage and I am still busy typing my book. Yes it will take longer than you expext, but not that long though. However, I still do think about the pastimes of what I been through after all these years. I think about the 90’s Pop Culture and my High School Times. Those are my missed memories. I began to ask this question in my head to myself, "Hey Vic, why do you cope with the past so much? Are you some kind of a pastime junkie or something?" And then I thought, "You can say that. It’s my anti-drug. It’s my motivation for my future." It’s just like when I look in my high school yearbook to reminisce. Speaking of pastimes, something that hit me across my mind. I was thinking about buying an old PlayStation game to play on my PlayStation 2 console. I was planning to by "Spyro the Dragon" from Amazon.com. I just used a gift card and used some of the money and bought the game online from Amazon.com. After I waited some days and guess what, right on my birthday, the video game was shipped to me in the mail. So I opened the mail and started playing the game. I haven’t played that game in a long time. I’m still moving on though. I was getting cheat codes and strategy guides to help get me through the whole thing. We know in video games, they only give you a few lives to live while playing your game and when you lose all, the game is over. I sought for strategy guides for 99 lives. A few days ago, I was playing to beat the whole game and all of the sudden, my brother accidentally unplugged the cord with his ankle. Boy, I was part angry at that time. So I started over. A couple of days ago, I stayed up all night to play the game to win it. until morning came. My sister was getting ready for school. I said to myself, "The only I can get through the whole thing is to win it. I am still on the loot for victory. If I beat "Spyro the Dragon", victory will be mine! "I was almost to the final level to confront Gnasty Gnorc, I paused the game to take care of some things. When I got back, guess what, I accidentally unplugged the cord. I was like, "Oh RATS! Now I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!" When my friend came over, we played another game. When I finally got my time back at night, I start playing again to earn my victory. I stayed up all night to play it. And once again, I used cheat codes and strategy guides to get 99 lives. When I was playing "Spyro the Dragon", I went to complete each land. I went through the Artisan home, Peace Keepers World, Magic Crafter World, Beast Makers World, Dream Weavers World, and all of the lands in the dragon kingdom. I released the dragons, reclaimed and collected every last treasuse, and I recover those dragon eggs from those pesky blue thieves. Oh yeah, I had to toast those enemies to collect the treasuse too. Treasuse chests were there too. And there I was in Gnasty’s World. I had to toast every enemy, collect treasuse, and release some more dragons. After I done all that, there I am fighting the last boss which is Gnasty Gnorc. He runs like a chicken. After I defeated him, I had to pick up more treasuse and that’s it. I’m still looking forward to buy other games adn most important, worry about my future. I still miss my good friends I haven’t seen in a long time. I hope I get to see them as soon as possible (ASAP). Anyways, thanks for reading this blog. Good night.

Peace, Tranquility, and Serenity,
Your brother,

-Vic

We Have Only Just Begun! 2008 Is Here & Welcome!

Thank GOD it's a brand new year. 2008 has officially begun underway. Now we are moving on, placing 2007 in the past and focusing on our futures. I still have plans. I hope that God will keep walking with us forever until the end of time. We are still walking on the path to build God's kingdom. I hope this year will carry out peace and tranquility. We all have the gift from God. Peace is what we expect from 2008. I hope this year will be better than 2007, and so on and so far. I truly thank the Lord for all of his blessings He brought upon us throughout the year 2007. For those who made resolutions for planning to make them, please make them wisely, because a New Years' Resolution is normally a solemn promise that you are making a vow or an oath to your life. However, I still do make future plans, but I carefully choose the right plan. Remember, "You can do anything if you set your mind to it." When New Years' came in, I heard gunshots, which is the signal of "Happy New Year". I think it is kind of exciting. Just like when people use 4th of July. I wish everyone here on God's land a Happy New Year. On Christmas Eve, I had a talk with a friend on the phone, we were talking about the true meanings of Life. And by the way, I am still working on my book for my future. I hope it gets published so every child, every teenager, and every adult across the country and around the globe to read it. I am encouraging people to love each other, turn the other cheek because it is time to put the spirit of Hate behind us. Let's join God's team and win for Peace and Justice! Let's beat down the devil, knock the devil to the floor. I can even defeat the devil with a stroke of a pen. If you want to win, join God's team and win.

I would like to dedicate this blog to my true friends and all of the people out there. By the way, R.I.P. to Pimp C. In December, we lost a great hip-hop legend. I don't think God want us to worry why Pimp C is gone, I think God want us to worry why We're here. I also want to dedicate this blog to my longtime friends that I haven't seen in whiles. I wish you all the best in life and all that you do.

We demand Peace, Justice, Unity, and Liberty!Just like Congressman Ron Paul stands for. Christmas is here! We are also celebrating Jesus' birthday. I hope everyone have a joyous Christmas across the country and around the globe. When we were younger, we enjoyed Christmas and we still do. I remember I receive a large green U.S. Army airplane with small soldiers for my first Christmas. And then, I started making Christmas lists of all the things I wanted. Even after Christmas, I used to make lists to plan for the next Christmas. I used to get toys and stuff. I received new clothes too. It's good to get whatever you need than want. "You don't always get what you want, sometimes, you get something better." I used to even wish for things on birthdays as well. Just like when you blow out candles on your birthday cake after you make your wish. When you tell whatever you wish for, it won't come true. Anyways, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I wish people a Happy Kwanzaa that's having one. And I wish the individuals a Happy Hanukkah that's having one!Blessings To ALL!God Bless!

--Victor

Still Busy Accomplishing My Book...

Fellow Brothers & Sisters

I am still busy writing my book. When t gets publishd, I will have it sold worldwide. I am trying my best to become a famous writer. I want this to be one of my official careers. I will do other things though. Here is how it all started...

"When I was a young child, my ultimate dream was to be an outstanding writer. My writing skills were excellent. People say I have good penmanship, but I'm not going to brag on that. I accomplished classwork and homework in that way. I even changed daily dates on blackboards and dry marker boards for teachers at school. I received compliments on my penmanship. I've written letters to mail to my relatives, I've taken writing tests, I've entered writing contests; although I didn't win, but I did receive honors on an essay I wrote, but none of my other essays I written four years ago. I remember I kept a personal journal before I written a few more essays. I remember we used to write sentences and long essays as punishment in school while in the classroom. That happened at my younger age. I enjoy reading as well. During my last year in school, we write in our journals everyday on different topics. In February, 2006, I made my final decision to type the book on the computer. That was my final decision above the rest and alongside business."

So that's how it all went. The book could take longer than you expect. I still write blogs though. I appreciate the fan base I have. Everyone is counting on me. In fact, the world is counting on me...

Your brother...

Vic

A Letter To My Longtime Friends II: Memories

Dear Longtime Friends,

This is Victor, your former high school friend again. I decided to write to you guys just to see how your guys are doing. I am still thinking about you guys. Ever since we graduated from high school, we parted ways. Even if I live to be 50 or older, I will never forget you all. In fact, I am going to save me class yearbook and all of the things I have for something to read and look at in my older age. That's right, I am going to remember our class name. I love to reminisce on the past. The past motivates me for a good future. I have spoken to some of you on Facebook, I was there to reconnect with you guys some more. You see, I am nowhere without awesome friends like yourselves. I am still working on my novel and I hope it gets published as soon as I get finished with it. Months ago, I was talking to a friend of mine on my cell phone. We talked about life. Yes, I miss school and the things we did together, but that's life. We all need to move on forward. God had provided us a brain so He allow is to think about the past. So I think about whatever I did back in the past. Do you guys remember when we went to our senoir prom on April 29, 2006, I will write a blog about that real soon. That will be my third chapter. As for now, I am at home lying in my bed, just reminiscing by looking in my yearbook filled with autographed signatures, photos, articles, stories, and more great memories. Every once in a while, I reminisce on the past. It's like having photos, autographs, and still frames in the hallway of my mind. I am writing this letter as a Good Riddance. Once again, I will remember the name of the class and I hope I get to meet you all in person soon. Remember to stay strong, stay on top of your game everyday and like I said in my first chapter, Don't back down for anyone! Keep living for our Lord Jesus Christ!

Special Regards,

Victor: The Country Brother

P.S. It doesn't stop, slow down, or rewind for anyone. Time is precious for anybody out there. It's like you are playing a video game with time limit. Let's say you have ten minutes to complete one level. It is also like you are in a boxing ring and you wait until that round is up and you go on to Round 2. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time just to re-live my good days and fix my bad days so I can eliminate all the bad things I accomplished. Of course, life doesn't work that way. You have to play by the rules. When I was 13 years old, my life went brilliant, but just a bit bad though. I will never forget those times. During are 12 was okay. When I was in middle school, most of everything was going good. I met more friends and we did great stuff together. We sometimes had disagreements before. You know, sometimes you can lose a friend and it takes a good while to make your friend again. You may have enemies, but you can learn a lesson from them, my mother told me that everybody is not your friend. When I went on to high school, everything was kind of puzzled to me, after some good time passed, everything was healing and fun. I was used to the whole think then. Those was the valuable times I have spent back then. In 2005, everything was still going good. My Until I started my last school year, it was business and later then in the late 2005, my grandfather passed away. It was grieving, but we moved on though. After those couple of weeks, I bought a new cell phone to interact with my friends and family. Until me graduation, everything was at the end. I did lose touch with most of my friends though. Anyways, remember my word. Don't try to take it for granted. Even a large elephant or a large plant in the desert may survive long, they still have one life to live. Don't be mislead by these crazy myths like "A Cat Has 9 Lives". When I first heard that saying, I thought it came from an interactive video game. It's just like Crash Bandicoot: Warped when Crash ate 100 peaches, he received an extra life. Of course, life doesn't work that way. God provided us one life to live, no matter who we are or where we're from. We can still live a good life though. We can go to the park, hang out with our friends, or whatever. Just don't let your guard down. Take your life seriously. Don't expect it to be everything, because you will never know what will happen, neither will I. No, I will not let my life go to waste. I am still finding things that fit my life, not just some small stuff like doing a job for a small amount of cash everytime. How would you like it if you were working at a small restaraunt? You were making $5.29 an hour. The customers were unhappy with the stuff and all of the sudden, you want to quit and do something else. Anyways, we only have one life to live. Keep it on track. In my neighborhood and two houses away from mine, on the same street, it is always a live party going on. The road was filled and packed with lots of vehicles. I wasn't there and I didn't view the whole scene. I did look out the window in the other room and I could see the scene, but not close though. Actually, I viewed it, but not that clearly. But I know what was going on. When I viewed the scene, I saw colored lights and I heard a live disc jockey playing hip-hop music. Imagine if your neighbor or anyone who lives near you throws annual parties with a disc jockey that plays hip-hop music, it will be another dimensoin of Sirius Satellite Radio by sitting by your open window or an open door. Even if you are outside in your garden. It is also like an outside nightclub without outdoor guards. I assume that it is some kind of a personal event. Do you remember the guy next door who played records back then? Today, the person who lives two houses away always have better plans to make. I remember when I was going to the mall just to buy things. I had to squish myself through the crowd. Security was there guarding the people. Alright, back on the topic. Events like that can be pretty unusual and very rare because it is usually hard to book personal parties like that. I don't know if the person has a disc jockey in the family or the person just hires then and then pay. I know this can sound kind of fun, but still, the road I live on was absolute unbelievable. During the hour of 2 a.m. in the morning, the scene was clear and the coast was clear. And the atmosphere was back to clean. All the cars were gone. Everything was back to a quiet night. Everything is back to normal.

Be God's.

Jury Duty Scams

Jury Duty Scam

URGENT!

Security - JURY DUTY SCAM

This has been verified on Snopes.com (link listed below) and by the FBI (their link is also included below). Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book

It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summons for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of scam has surfaced. Fall for it and your identity could be stolen, reports CBS.

In this con, someone calls pretending to be a court official who threateningly says a warrant has been issued for your arrest because you didn't show up for jury duty. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and your identity was just stolen.

The scam has been reported so far in 11 states. This (scam) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they're with the court system.

The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.

Check it our here:

http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/juryduty.asp

http://www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel05/092805.htm

Be God's.

Once Country!!! I am an small-town country boy. I do have a large family who lives in the urban area and I have another family who lives in the suburban area. I live in the streets of suburbia. When I was in school, I accomplished plethora things. I helped some people when needed and I show respect to people. No matter how small or large. Sometimes I think about going out into the city. Even if I live in the city, it does not change myself for myself. Since I am from the country, that's my status. Even if I live somewhere else, I am still country. And I am proud. I am still God's child, that's for sure. My friends told me not to change for anyone. God: Our Father in Christ is our hero. He saves lives better than men. Whatever men can do, God enabled the powers for men. Whatever men cannot do, the Lord has the strength for those things. That's why we put all of our trust in Him. For instance, let's talk about Jesus and the doctors. In bible teachings, Jesus put doctors out of business because He heals pain and any kind of sickness faster than doctors and releases the pain better than medicine and painkillers, especially prescription pills and other sorts of drugs like aspirin. As we all know, aspirin is a drug and we don't expect for the pain to heal on contact. That's why Jesus is also all you need. I remember I had a toothache once before and I was taking medicine. My next action was to stand on my head. I thought it would work. Five minutes later, the pain came back. I went to the dentist to get the tooth pulled and later then, Jesus took the pain away. So that's why the Lord Jesus Christ is the only hero you need.

A Letter To My Longtime Friends

Dear Longtime Friends,

This is Victor, the former student. I went to school with you guys. It's been a while since we were all gathered together for a graduation farewell. We were on the long road and we took no shortcut. If we did, we would end up on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams. On my journey, there were good times and bad times. I went through a lot. I still have bigger plans for the future. But right now, I am sitting at my desk in my room just reminiscing by looking at the times in my yearbook to backtrack on the pastimes of that year. Even the pictures and portraits that were taken. When you all read my last will in the yearbook, it really meant something. It's just like if you won an Oscar or a Golden Globe, you would walk up to the stage and then testify. Even on church days. We were always on the move. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time, but time goes forward. Life Goes On!!! You just can't fight it. God has blessed us through everything. You just can't beat God's giving so we thank Him for the blessings through the time. Even our dark days because He brought the days from darkness to light. Well, I must end this letter with friendly respect. We were more than just friends; we were comrades, crusaders and true saints. Anyways, stay strong, stay on top of your game everyday, and don't back down. Remember to keep your life health, and strength!

Everybody Take Care Now
Victor

P.S. I wish everyone good luck here in America.
